State Laws Restrict Reporting Time Frame to 7 Years

As you may know, a number of states have implemented laws restricting the criminal history reporting time frame to 7 years. Because of these laws, we will begin processing all search results returned after 4 p.m. CST Friday, Nov. 6 using the 7-year time frame.

There are some exceptions to these rules, however, including salary, hefty credit transactions and state/federal requirements. If you believe you meet one of the exceptions and need search results for more than 7 years, please contact us at 888-527-3282 or support@nationalcrimesearch.com. We're happy to review your account and discuss the possibility of extending the look-back period beyond 7 years.
